As the  director for the SheBreathes Gallery, I have the chance to meet many talented artists. Each one has something unique, beautiful and inspiring to offer the studio, and to me. When you see Lynne Atwood’s artwork, it’s clear that she has consistently invested in developing her craft, and her art business. When you meet her there’s no doubt that art is a fulfilling and integral part of who she is and she’s serious about sharing it with as many people as she can.

Lynne has pursued her love of art for thirty years through workshops, attending exhibits, and showing and selling her work. Her work is eclectic, mostly realistic, and colorful, very similar to her bubbly personality. She often uses her own photos as a reference for new paintings, and many of her paintings are available in limited edition giclee prints, and as decorative tiles.

She is also a wife, mother to three sons, and a private academic tutor. Her life is blessed and full, with art being a huge part of the way she interprets her surroundings. She paints what appeals to her, therefore her subject matter is prolific: land, sea, flowers dappled in sunlight, reflections on glass, interesting shadow patterns, and children playing on the beach. Lynne accepts commissions for paintings of people, pets, houses and gardens in beautiful, natural settings.
